I am a New York City based actor, who can be described as Chris Kattan’s smarter, waspy-er, more pragmatic younger brother.

Acting has always been my first love, but I spent the first 18 years of my career in New York as a clothing designer.

On a typical day I would get up at 5am to meet my ice skating coach to work on jumps, spins and figures.  I was a little late to the party as I started competing in my early 20’s and was lucky to find an amazing coach that would work with me.  Shockingly, I placed 1st on the regional level several times, pretty good for someone considered a senior citizen in the ice skating world.

By 9am, I would be in my design office creating color and print concepts for the fashion world.

Around 2pm, I would scoot out to midtown on breaks to audition on the down-low for obscure church basement Off-Off-Broadway productions.

Come 6pm, I would rush out of the office to make it in time for an evening performance, turn down after show drinks to be in bed by midnight and start all over again.

I love playing with my dog, horseback riding when I can (remember that wasp-y bit?), sewing and coloring.  I recommend the Disney Heroes coloring book.  It’s healthier than drinking and cheaper than therapy.

Hey there…thanks for stopping by!

I am a New York City based actor who has been acting since I was a little kid. I still remember my 1st grade play where I played a grasshopper in Going Buggy, that play put the acting “bug” in me, no pun intended, and still remember the opening number. If you wanna hear it, I’ll sing you a few bars..lol

From that point on, I was in every school play and community theater production that was around. I loved being on stage, playing different characters and wearing various costumes.

Since that time I have been in numerous plays, films and tv shows.

I continue to learn and take classes at many different studios in New York from HB Studio, NYU and Upright Citizens Brigade.

Besides acting, I love ice skating, (i’m actually a competitive figure skater) going to the gym, playing with my dog, going to the beach, horseback riding, sewing, traveling, shopping (I have worked in the design business for years), coloring (yes I have kids and adult coloring books) and spending time with my family.

I would love to hear from you about projects you are working on or if you just want to say hi! Love connecting with new people. Find me on my social media pages: Instagram and Twitter!

Thanks again!
Rick
